Managing content can be tedious—especially when you’re juggling large datasets and constantly opening overlays for small edits. Framer’s newly redesigned CMS 3.0 puts that inefficiency to rest with a complete reimagining of how you interact with your data.
Inline editing, reimagined
The headline feature of CMS 3.0 is full inline editing. You can now edit statuses, toggles, references, images, icons, and colors directly in the table view. No overlays, no context switching—just click, edit, and move on. Multi-cell selection and bulk actions let you batch-update fields across dozens of items in seconds, a game-changer for large collections.
Built for power users
Keyboard navigation was rebuilt from the ground up in CMS 3.0. Moving between cells, selecting rows, and executing bulk operations all feel intuitive. Power users will appreciate shortcuts that actually work the way you’d expect, cutting workflow friction significantly.
Organization that scales
As collections grow, chaos creeps in. CMS 3.0 addresses this with folders for organizing related collections, improved search and filtering that combine queries with active filters, and a cleaner interface overall. Columns are now resizable and reorderable, so you build the view that works for your workflow. The fields panel was moved to a dedicated sidebar, freeing up workspace for the table view where your content lives.
